when I took public speaking in college, our teacher ALWAYS made individual videos of us presenting our speeches...on a VHS we were required to buy no less...talk about painful. I found that several glasses of wine always made the experience an entertaining one : )
Ah.. but I am already at school so intoxication is not an option. I had 15 people watch the lesson and critique it. They all looked for specific things : calling patterns, my movement, misbehavior, etc.
It was... painful at first. Everyone was very nice about it and said helpful things. I was the guinea pig who went first. Bleh.
